RENTAL TIMES & PRICES

OFF-ROAD MACHINES​

• Rental pick-up times are between 9am - 2pm EST (TBD by your day and specific rental). Winter hours may change pick-up times.

• You must be 21 and have a valid drivers license to rent an off-road machine from Adventure Rentals.

• You must be 18 and have a valid drivers license to drive an off-road rental machine.

• To carry a minor passenger, the driver must be 25 and the Parent or Legal Guardian of the minor passenger. No minors are permitted without parent/legal guardian.

• No Car Seats allowed in rental machines; MINIMUM HEIGHT FOR CHILDREN IS 52 INCHES

• Helmets and eye protection are required for Off-Road machine rentals.

• Off-Road machines must be washed and returned with a full tank of gas.​

• Off-Road Rentals include entrance to the Badlands Off Road Park for the number of people allowed in the machine.

• Off-Road Rentals being driven On-Road must only be driven on county roads in the Indiana counties of Fountain, Warren, and Parke. (Rentals may be driven in Attica, Williamsport, and Covington. NO rentals may be driven in Rockville.)

• The vehicles are speed limited to approximately 35MPH

GUIDED TOUR OFF-ROAD MACHINES (all above rules apply to guided rides)​

• Guided rides begin at machine pick up location and convoy to the Badlands Off Road Park.

• You will get a tour of the Badlands and even see some areas not open to the public.

• The guided rides are for leisure and fun. 

• Rental pick-up times are stated for guided rides.

• You must stay with the guide from start to finish.  Emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis.

• It is recommended that you bring a lunch and/or beverages.

• Coolers are welcome, but will be checked upon entry to Badlands Off Road Park.  No alcohol is allowed.

• The guide will also have a cooler.  Please remember these are off-road machines.  Pack your lunch to withstand the bouncing and jiggling of the machine.

• The vehicles are speed limited to approximately 35MPH

DAMAGE PROTECTION & SECURITY DEPOSITS

All rentals REQUIRE the purchase of Damage Protection (an additional $15 fee). This damage protection limits your responsibility if damages occur. (Damage Protection and Security Deposit requirements are per machine rental.)

• OFF-ROAD MACHINES

  • The purchased Damage Protection means the renter is responsible for a maximum of $1,500 if damage occurs to your rented Off Road Machine. The Security Deposit - a hold on a credit/debit card upon arrival - for Off Road Machine rentals is $1,500 per machine. (No Cash Deposits allowed.)

  • Tire Damage Protection is offered for Off Road Machines. Tire Damage Protection costs $25 and covers the replacement costs of all tires on your off road rental machine.​ 

• SLINGSHOTS

  • The purchased Damage Protection means the renter is responsible for a maximum of $750 if damage occurs to your rented Slingshot. The Security Deposit - a hold placed on a credit/debit card upon arrival - for Slingshot rentals, they are $750 per Slingshot. (No Cash Deposits allowed.)

PLEASE NOTE:  YOU CAN BE CHARGED FOR THE DOWNTIME OF YOUR RENTAL MACHINE IF YOU DO DAMAGE AND THE DAMAGE PREVENTS THE ABILITY FOR RENTAL AT THE DAILY RATE. DOWNTIME CHARGES ARE A SEPARATE FEE FOR WHICH THE RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE AND IS NOT COVERED BY THE DAMAGE WAIVER.
